"I refuse to advance in a system that necessitates extraction from others and the planet" "I have to maintain my submission to a system that necessitates extraction from others, i am being extracted from, but i can't lose what i have." Both are slaves to a mindset. The system loves to point to the former as a warning, and tell the lie to the latter that they could potentially advance. IT's true, advancement is possible for the latter, but only if they are willing to leave others behind. Your advancement comes at a cost of refusal to acknowledge what you've taken from others. It's a brilliant insidious little system. Its chains are groundwork to maintain itself. Whenever i hear "You expect others to do work for you" all i can hear from that person is that they expect to never acknowledge the wealth opportunity they've taken from others. The stock market pays dividends from the stolen labor of its workers. The Military is wielded to pro...

yo dawg

They dont trust the government putting fluoride in the water but they'll trust it to kill anyone it wants to. Anyone it wants to. Historically, in the u.s., the government hasn't targetted them the same way it has who they view to be subversives. Its easy to see why they are the way they are. And its easy to see why they have faith in oligarchs who have only ever paid and supported the murder of leftists, minorities, and the poor. Because they've been told that theyre better than the traditional targets of power. They dont understand that just because theyre at the middle of the heirarchy, they're just as disposable as the bottom. And that rush to replace workers with a.i. isnt being done to allow them to have a peaceful life. The American Oligarchy is waging war on immigration because they are enacting plans to replace us with machines. They've never liked competing with independent autonomous beings for resources, and now theyre convinced that they won't need ...
The greatest trick power has ever accomplished is convincing good people that they can wield it responsibly. In America, i see peoples faith in our power structures. The struggle is always between neutering the powerful and the powerful lying to us justifying their existence. We dont even feign surprise anymore as they kill, rape, assault, dehumanize. But somehow we think the ring of power will answer to us. We assign progress to the power achieved by violent actions rather than communal agreement. We assign order to the chaos, and simply wait hoping that power doesnt target us if we remain quiet enough. Order is what the fearful clamor for, and demagogues are more than willing to stand up and offer it. Do we want order? Or do we want to be allowed to not contemplate worries? We want to put that pressure on other people, and we feel content when violence is wielded against those who we feel are breaking some sort of rule. Such as existing, living across a border that we define as less ...
There are an infinite number of little crumbs of hope left by every person you meet. Clinging to definitions takes away from the magic. From the indescribable reality that makes us human. A butterfly may be just an insect. But it is also a reflection of the natural order that shaped something so delicate in a world that often feels merciless. This planet holds so much diversity and room. To call it chaos is fair. But the idea of order within that chaos is comforting only to those who build their identity on fear. Language is incredible. But it is also a weapon. People use it to minimize the awe we could feel if only we stopped scrambling to define everything we see. You are here because there is room for you. Don’t waste time questioning that. Instead, question what motivates you. And how that motivation fits into the reality that everyone else, who is also at the mercy of meaning, is trying to navigate. You can empower and strengthen others in ways that help them reach their own purpo...
There is no economic left in government. Without an economic left, a social left has 0 staying power. The right will always be able to wield the powerless as scapegoats. As is their historical go-to. And because there is no discussion of policies that aim to improve the lives of the working class "we become at the mercy of whichever monster screams the loudest" There are policies that aim to chain many of us to the systems the status quo beneficiaries have crafted, and how to further cement those policies into unquestionable monolithic truths. The stock market should not exist. Its too easy to manipulate, and provides a shield for the powerful to escape accountability. What other system could validate a forever-at-war excitement for the powerful movers and shakers guardians of capital and personal wealth. What else could have crafted hospitals and food makers and doctors into addictive subscription services instead of sustainers of health? What else could have incentivized ...
Cruelty is what unifies any person self identified as right wing leaning. They will actively surrender the future of their own families in service of a state that wields conformity as a cudgel. And because there is no left in America, whatsoever. Because leftist media exists only on the fringes of the overall media landscape. The right is free to completely dominate any and every discussion. Democrats ARE right wing. The most "extreme left" democrats represent an ideological center, and are afforded the spotlight to be mocked and laughed at as tools who have lost any semblance of power. Democrats will continue their path to appease the fascist right, continue to fail all of us in the process.  Because all of the power is in the hands of people who have convinced our law makers that they deserve more and more while we scramble to achieve the same standard of living as last year. Democrats LOSE because they have no fucking identity. Why vote for the reasonable business offer wh...
Gaza is a warning from the rich to the working class. "We are more violent than you, and we do not value your lives more than we value our power"
