There is no economic left in government.
Without an economic left, a social left has 0 staying power.
The right will always be able to wield the powerless as scapegoats. As is their historical go-to.
And because there is no discussion of policies that aim to improve the lives of the working class "we become at the mercy of whichever monster screams the loudest"
There are policies that aim to chain many of us to the systems the status quo beneficiaries have crafted, and how to further cement those policies into unquestionable monolithic truths.
The stock market should not exist.
Its too easy to manipulate, and provides a shield for the powerful to escape accountability.
What other system could validate a forever-at-war excitement for the powerful movers and shakers guardians of capital and personal wealth.
What else could have crafted hospitals and food makers and doctors into addictive subscription services instead of sustainers of health?
What else could have incentivized artists and journalists into captors of attention instead of expressions of truth?
They've financially incentivized an investment in human suffering in our empire.

If you are furious about how our federal government is treating immigrants, recognize that they treat every human who non-violently resists the goals of the United States the same way, and the goals of our nation are not grounded in compassion and justice, but supremacy. On the faith that our supremacy is moral,  And they convince us that every policy and civil rights win is proof of our claims as just rulers of the world. When all they actually are doing is wielding them as a tool to weaponize us for their goals. And as soon as those goals are met, civil rights go back on the chopping block. As we saw with Roe v Wade.  These are tools to get us to fall in line, played off as politics, manufacturing consent to swap between the "lesser evils" so well controlled that it feels irresponsible to vote anyone else. Its funny how the comfortable are so fearful of socialism. The concept of services not grounded in extraction of wealth. As we are seeing them smiling as they stranglehold private ownership on every last tree that exists, burning and cutting them down to build Amazon warehouses. They've weaponized comfort as leverage against the future of all human life on the planet. Once they have control of everything, once they've convinced you that they've earned it all, why should they afford you comfort at that point?
