The Democrats had the decency to fully fund and arm Israel for a quick genocide.

The ever economically responsible Republicans decided to starve Gaza to death, as to eliminate the one right wing criticism conservatives have to killing brown people who dont submit to white supremacy.

Americans who only focus on domestic policy are exactly what the empire wants. This justifies flipping between two imperialist parties that convince themselves the murder of brown kids is in our best interest.

We owe the world more than that. We owe ourselves more than that. How they view the weak is how they view us. No bill of rights will protect us from the interests of the powerful.

If you are furious about how our federal government is treating immigrants, recognize that they treat every human who non-violently resists the goals of the United States the same way, and the goals of our nation are not grounded in compassion and justice, but supremacy. On the faith that our supremacy is moral,  And they convince us that every policy and civil rights win is proof of our claims as just rulers of the world. When all they actually are doing is wielding them as a tool to weaponize us for their goals. And as soon as those goals are met, civil rights go back on the chopping block. As we saw with Roe v Wade.  These are tools to get us to fall in line, played off as politics, manufacturing consent to swap between the "lesser evils" so well controlled that it feels irresponsible to vote anyone else. Its funny how the comfortable are so fearful of socialism. The concept of services not grounded in extraction of wealth. As we are seeing them smiling as they stranglehold private ownership on every last tree that exists, burning and cutting them down to build Amazon warehouses. They've weaponized comfort as leverage against the future of all human life on the planet. Once they have control of everything, once they've convinced you that they've earned it all, why should they afford you comfort at that point?
