If you are furious about how our federal government is treating immigrants, recognize that they treat every human who non-violently resists the goals of the United States the same way, and the goals of our nation are not grounded in compassion and justice, but supremacy. On the faith that our supremacy is moral, And they convince us that every policy and civil rights win is proof of our claims as just rulers of the world. When all they actually are doing is wielding them as a tool to weaponize us for their goals. And as soon as those goals are met, civil rights go back on the chopping block. As we saw with Roe v Wade. These are tools to get us to fall in line, played off as politics, manufacturing consent to swap between the "lesser evils" so well controlled that it feels irresponsible to vote anyone else. Trump brought foreign policy home, and voting establishment just means the blinders are easier to accept. We need to stop being complacent in our own de-humanization. How...
"I refuse to advance in a system that necessitates extraction from others and the planet" "I have to maintain my submission to a system that necessitates extraction from others, i am being extracted from, but i can't lose what i have." Both are slaves to a mindset. The system loves to point to the former as a warning, and tell the lie to the latter that they could potentially advance. IT's true, advancement is possible for the latter, but only if they are willing to leave others behind. Your advancement comes at a cost of refusal to acknowledge what you've taken from others. Whenever i hear "You expect others to do work for you" all i can hear from that person is that they expect to never acknowledge the wealth opportunity they've taken from others. The stock market pays dividends from the stolen labor of its workers. The Military is wielded to pro...
Its funny how the comfortable are so fearful of socialism. The concept of services not grounded in extraction of wealth. As we are seeing them smiling as they stranglehold private ownership on every last tree that exists, burning and cutting them down to build Amazon warehouses. They've weaponized comfort as leverage against the future of all human life on the planet. Once they have control of everything, once they've convinced you that they've earned it all, why should they afford you comfort at that point?
