 I just find it funny how we are literally plucked from the void and smashed in with with a bunch other people, where everyone is trying to push ideas onto us and we're all mad at eachother for not agreeing on the rules.


and one rule we've nearly all agreed on is that it's more ok to have individuals with enough resources to survive a million lifetimes while some of us to die because they don't have clean water.

That's one rule we pretty much all agree on.

Because we all agree murderers shouldn't be allowed freedom to exist in society, and do our best to stop them.

It's just sooooo hard to care about everyone else but it's super easy to only care about yourself.

Control, love, and choices

 All frustration is born out of a lack of control. Control that never truly existed in the first place. You're leaving our relationship?  My business isn't doing well? Love is just love, love happens effortlessly, love is our standard state of being. We are born loving the first people we grow up with, we naturally love anyone who we spend an amount of time with. Real or imaginary, there is a desire to exert control over what we hate in some manner. or when we convince ourselves of a threat to what we love, real or imaginary.   Right wingers might not all be racists, but ultimately they all tolerate racism as a tool. Their identity seems to hinge on "things running smoothly is what I care about." Hence their devotion to what they imagine to be strong leaders. They intrinsically trust the system because the system has never specifically targeted them for exclusion or abuse. Which is why they refuse to acknowledge it has ever been used to abuse others. They, intentionally or unwttingly, see racism as an affirmation that they aren't going to be the target that those seeking power in a democracy need to gain influence. Which explains their mistrust of democracy and leaning towards fascism. If they elect a bigoted leader, like Trump or DeSantis, then the bigoted leader will focus their attention on the scapegoat they campaigned on and not anything that might actually impact them or their business.
